One of our farm workers and his new wife moved in right next door to his mother. His mother insisted that he stop by at her house each evening before going home. We noticed he was gaining weight and joked about married life being good. Turned out the poor man’s mother made him eat dinner at her house every day and he couldn’t tell his bride, so he ate dinner at home as well!
